I Almost Fell: a Poem
I wrote this poem last year, and just now found it.
I Almost Fell
I almost fell in love with you
But came to my senses before I could;
You promised you would forever be true,
And I just knew you never would;
Your friends begged me to give you a chance,
I even considered it for about a day;
Then Joey asked me to the dance,
What was I supposed to say?
"No Joey, I don't want to go with you?",
"Joey, I'd rather go with a lying fool?"
How would it look if I told Joey, too,
That I almost fell in love with you?

You keep getting flagged for the word s w e e t n e s s? lol Obviously I wasn't taking any chances with it. What the hey?! That makes no sense, it certainly isn't a derogatory word.
I know, autumn. I've been flagged on a few separate posts that were short and sweet -- and I happened to use that ((points above)) word in all of them. As soon as I changed that word, the post was allowed through.

Autumn, How old is your little sister, or what grade is she in? My older sister (she is my only sibling) is about 4 years and 6 months older than me. We've been best-friends since, I turned 17 or 18. It's great to have a sister! I love her soooo much, and can't imagine life without her.
