Autumn87 What is the most romantic gift? Jan 30, 2009 9:47 PM Each one of us has our own ideas about what makes a gift romantic, what makes for a better symbol of love. So, the question is, what gift do you consider the most romantic?
Autumn87 Love Song Lovin': "In the Still of the Night" by the Five Satins Jun 29, 2007 12:17 PM Oh, how I LOVE this song! It's about spending the night with the one you love...and ultimately hoping the morning won't come so that the night will last forever. And even though you know you can relive that special moment in your memories, you realize that memories begin to fade over time. Awwww, it's so beautiful...check it out! Lyrics from www.songmeanings.net : In the still of the night I held you Held you tight 'Cause I love Love you so Promise I'll never Let you go In the still of the night I remember That night in May The stars were bright above I'll hope and I'll pray To keep your precious love Well before the light Hold me again With all of your might In the still of the night (In the still of the night) So before the light Hold me again With all of your might In the still of the night (In the still of the night) In the still of the night

"Moulin Rouge" is a musical/love story that beautifully combines the elements of both into a most wonderful film. This movie is about the power of love, that it prevails through every obstacle...even tragedy. Remember: "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and be loved in return". Plot summary from www.imdb.com : Christian, a young wannabe Bohemian poet living in 1899 Paris, defies his father by joining the colorfully diverse clique inhabiting the dark, fantastical underworld of Paris' now legendary Moulin Rouge. In this seedy but glamorous haven of sex, drugs and newly-discovered electricity, the poet-innocent finds himself plunged into a passionate but ultimately tragic love affair with Satine, the club's highest paid star and the city's most famous courtesan. Their romance is played out against the infamous club - a meeting place of high life and low, where slumming aristocrats and the fashionably rich mingled with workers, artists, Bohemians, actresses and courtesans. One of my favorite scenes:
Autumn87 When Was Your First Kiss? Jun 11, 2007 6:43 PM Ahhhh, the innocence and joy of a first kiss...unless yours was kinda awkward, like mine. Unless it was too painful of an experience, think back to your first kiss. Okay now if that image didn't make you sick or make you cry, answer this poll! lol
